About the Cash for College Scholarship
The Inland Empire Cash for College Scholarship supports Inland Empire students from all backgrounds, including undocumented student, as they prepare to continue their education in the upcoming academic year. Whether you plan to attend a two-year college, a four-year university, or a career training program, this scholarship celebrates your commitment to building a stronger future through education.
How the Scholarship Works
Our goal is to remove barriers and recognize students who take key steps toward college.
To be eligible, students must:
- Attend a Cash for College workshop to receive hands-on guidance with financial aid applications.
- Complete the California Student Aid Commission (CSAC) survey during or after the workshop.
- Submit either the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or the California Dream Act Application (CADAA) by the state’s priority deadline.
Students who meet these requirements are entered into a random drawing for scholarship awards.
Winners are announced after the state deadline and celebrated on the Inland Empire Cash for College website.

Taking the First Step
The easiest way to begin your financial aid process? Attend a Cash for College workshop. These free events are open to students and families across the Inland Empire and are designed to take the guesswork out of applying for financial aid. With support from trained advisors, participants get help completing the FAFSA or CADAA, learn about available grants and scholarships, and leave with a clear understanding of what comes next.
For students, it’s a chance to take control of the college journey. For parents and educators, it’s an opportunity to ensure young people have the guidance and support they need to access money for college—and to feel more confident about what’s possible.
